Coach Training and Why?

Who Enrolls In Coach Training and Why?

Students attracted to Comprehensive Coaching U and The Coaching Institute, are unique, exceptional, intelligent people, who want a program that moves rapidly. Our students range in age from 18 to 65 and over ¾ of our students are women.

People enroll for personal interest as well as their life and career well being, and to assist family, friends and loved ones in having happier lives and doing the work they love. We have recently noticed an increasing number of young people in their twenties, enrolling. These students are looking for a career that makes a difference and pays well. Many of our students are adults who want a career change shifting away from computers, corporations, teaching, health care, and other traditional fields. Still, others are personal trainers, yoga teachers, massage therapists, consultants, social workers, registered nurses, physicians or other health care practitioners asking to integrate our curriculum into their existing practice.

Our training is especially designed for those interested in working professionally in the booming field of life-coaching field, doing important work, and doing what they love while serving the world.

One of the gifts of life coaching is that you choose where to work. Many graduates work in their own home, while others rent office space to see clients. Many graduates work in settings with other professionals such as: chiropractors, personal trainers, therapists, mental health professionals or in gyms, day spas, yoga studios. Corporations enthusiastically invite graduates to be guest lecturers, paying them up to $1,000 to speak.

There is also the increasingly popular option of distance coaching, working with clients over the phone. The possibilities are unlimited. There is a great freedom in your ability to shape your practice into whatever works for you.

Another special treat in being a life coach, is that you can choose when you want to work. You are trained to earn $100-150 or more per hour. You may want to do this full time, or may want to supplement your current career by earning extra income in the evenings and on weekends. You design the schedule that fits for you. If you do want to leave your day JOB, the flexibility allows you to gradually ease yourself out of a currently unfulfilling “J-O-B”, with no financial stress. Ultimately, you have the choice to make this a part-time adventure or a full-time career.

Immediately after graduation, you will be charging $295 a month, or about $2,360 for an eight-month coaching program. By finding one new client a week for 50 weeks of the year, you will earn $118,000 annually… with two new clients a week, $236,000.

After gaining further experience and confidence, we encourage graduates to increase their monthly fees to $400 or $500 a month. While there are so many social workers, personal trainers, psychologists, massage therapists, chiropractors and other health providers, there is almost nobody who can effectively guide others to create extraordinary lives and work. All this at a time when more and more people are wondering: “What is my life about?”

Like starting any new business, building a successful life coaching practice requires two to three years of focused awareness, perseverance, commitment and motivation.

Graduates report receiving great respect from both clients and healthcare providers, they receive referrals, are taken seriously, and are eagerly invited to work in medical offices, chiropractor’s clinics, gyms, spas and other professional settings.
