Curing Winter Doldrums

Many people feel depressed as the darkness and cold of winter sets in. Some suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). Here are some things you can do to improve how you feel and add more energy to your life.

1. Spend at least 30 minutes a day outdoors.
2. Open all the shades and curtains in your home and let the light in.
3. Turn on all the lights in your home.
4. Use full spectrum light bulbs in your home.
5. Get a full spectrum lamp and sit under it several times a day.
6. Focus on the positive aspects of the season.
