2007 - What Are You Looking Forward To?

According to Wikipedia, 2007 is the 2007th year of the Gregorian calendar, the 7th year in the 21st Century, and the 7th year in the 3rd millenium.

And some of the things we can look forward to this year includes Bulgaria and Romania joining the European Union; many countries/cities around the world banning smoking in restaurants, work places, and other public places; Daylight saving time in the United States and most of Canada will begin, four to five weeks ahead of the previous schedule, in accordance with the Energy Policy Act of 2005; the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Helsinki, Finland; in June NASA's MESSENGER spacecraft will make its second flyby of Venus en route to Mercury; in July the New Seven Wonders of the World are set to be revealed in a ceremony in Portugal; the new Harry Potter film will be released… hello, are you still with me here?

Okay, fair enough, you could care less about some of these things... maybe something a little closer to home will interest you... like, what are YOU doing in 2007 that is special or interesting? Or are you just going to be doing the same old same old?

Sometimes our life and financial circumstances are such that we can't always do much about how we live our lives, and I think such times are great for planning. Because life is never static. Change is inevitable. Opportunities are around but you have to play your part and keep an eye out for them and recognize them when you see them!

Some of you might consider new careers, some of you might be thinking of starting new or finishing old relationships, some may want to travel, some may want to renovate, some may want to embark on a course of self-development.

Don't feel like a failure if you have no plans made at all. There is no law that says you have to do something new and different and announce it in the first month of every new year. You may feel like doing something new and different later on in the year, and that is perfectly acceptable.

The point I'd like to make is you should, if you can, make the most of your life and don't look back at the end of another year and sigh heavily, wishing and full of "if only's".

2007 is not just another new year. It's another year in your life. Make it count. Make it matter. Find a way to make it matter! Give yourself something to look back on proudly and joyfully.

By the way, if you're not happy in your job and you've wondered about working from home in some kind of professional business, I have a free report that reveals "How To Turn Your Passion Into Profits in 30 Days or Less."
